Why a Big FOV?

The three-dimensional imaging of a DVT device is the decisive advantage over the conventional imaging of 2D X-ray devices: Here the dentist can spatially examine the oral conditions according to a wide variety of medical aspects. In comparison to the three-dimensional image information of a DVT and that obtained with the help of a 2D X-ray image, the radiation exposure is disproportionately high in the latter. In addition, the volume structure of the hard and soft tissue is incomparably better represented than with the 2D X-ray image.

With one of the largest Field of Views (FOV) on the market (150 x 160 mm), the PreXion3D EXPLORER can display all important anatomical structures of the skull in detail. The powerful image processing software helps to highlight and measure relevant areas. Above all in oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery as well as in ear, nose and throat medicine, the extensive spatial image analysis helps to develop the best therapeutic options.

The PreXion3D EXPLORER offers a precise 360 ° 3D panorama view. In the 3D analysis function, image sections (FOV) of 50 x 50 mm, 150 x 80 mm, 100 x 100 mm and 150 x 160 mm are available. The PreXion3D Explorer impresses with its simple operation, extensive planning programs and imaging software across all indication areas.
